Project Details

Peppertree Quarry is one of the largest and technologically advanced hard rock quarry operations in NSW, delivering crushed granodiorite hard rock products for major construction projects. The quarry required additional overburden emplacement space and extension of in-pit operating hours.

Element Engagement

Element’s engagement included:

  • Project management of the modification application including 6 technical studies
  • Preparing the environmental assessment report
  • Preparing the Response to Submissions Report

Project Achievements

As Boral was running out of overburden emplacement space, Element couldn’t afford delays to the modification application process.

Due to our careful management of the team of technical specialists, our reputation with DPE as the regulator and the preparation of high-quality deliverables, we were able to gain development consent on program, preventing any disturbance to operations.
