Ocean Drive Duplication Project
CLIENT:
Ditchfield Contracting
INDUSTRY:
Transport
Project Details
The Ocean Drive Duplication Project will ease congestion in a high-growth area by duplicating a road way and creating new intersections along a 3.4km section of Ocean Drive.
The project will be within an existing road reserve, surrounded by growing neighbourhoods and with Ocean Drive being a key road into the Port Macquarie town centre. As such, the project will result in a high-standard transport link between Port Macquarie, Lake Cathie, Bonny Hills, Laurieton and Kew.
Further, the project addresses the need for safe access for both motorists and pedestrians alike, with multiple child care centres, two major schools and numerous bus stops along or adjacent the project corridor.
