Northern Beaches B-Line

Project Details

The $500 million B-Line program was a new bus service and a series of roadworks and infrastructure improvements along a 31km route, from Newport on the Northern Beaches through Lower North Shore and ending in Wynyard. Infrastructure improvements included four new commuter carparks creating more than 900 new spaces, 18 new bus stops, minor road widening, new bus bays and new signals at certain intersections.

Element Engagement

Element’s engagement included:

• Construction environmental management documentation
• Obtaining construction approvals
• Environmental compliance monitoring and reporting

Project Achievements

Took the initiative to fully understand the construction program and all activities associated with each stage of construction to allow prioritisation of construction approvals and environmental management deliverables to prevent any delays to construction due to outstanding environmental approvals.
