Project Details
The Newcastle Light Rail project was delivered by Downer under a managing contractor delivery model. The light rail project is 2.7 kilometres in length, running from Newcastle Interchange at Wickham to Pacific Park in Newcastle East, just 200 metres from Newcastle Beach and has the capacity to transport 1,200 people per hour.
Element Engagement
Element’s engagement included:
- Environmental Management Representative for decommissioning works package
- Environmental compliance monitoring and reporting
- Environmental approvals and management support
- ISCA data collection and reporting
Project Achievements
Prepared all environmental management and approvals documentation to a high standard and on time to facilitate construction achieving tight deadlines.
