Project Details

The Coffs Harbour Bypass Project aims to enhance road transport efficiency and safety for local and interstate motorists. This 14-kilometre bypass, funded by the Australian and New South Wales government, will remove thousands of vehicles from the town centre, leading to improved connectivity and boosting the regional economy. The existing highway through Coffs Harbour forms part of the Sydney-Brisbane freight corridor and carries up to 35,000 vehicles per day, which already experiences high levels of congestion and are only expected to increase with population growth.
