A new purpose-built train maintenance facility and rail overbridge is built at Kangy Angy on the NSW Central Coast. The facility services and maintains the new intercity trains fleet and includes offices, amenities, staff parking and ancillary buildings. The key benefits include:
- Reducing the costs of intercity operations
- Facilitating an increased fleet capacity for intercity passengers
- A new access bridge connecting Enterprise Drive with Orchard Road and enabling flood egress for residents
