The 2015 – 2017 Drainage Maintenance and 30 Tonne Axle Loading Works Package included 160 individual rail track maintenance work sites within ARTC’s Hunter Valley rail network.

Element Engagement

Element’s engagement included:

  • Environmental constraints analysis for 160 minor works sites
  • Environmental Impact Assessments for 160 minor works sites

Project Achievements

Element developed an efficient process to rapidly assess environmental impacts across 160 minor sites within three weeks to facilitate quick mobilisation of maintenance crews.
