Developing a circular economy in NSW is one of Element’s strategic focuses. Element collaborates with leading global circular economy companies to develop robust solutions to waste management and resource recovery challenges, thereby diverting waste from landfill and finding a beneficial reuse for recovered materials.  

Element Engagement

Element’s engagements across 20+ waste and resource recovery projects in the past two years includes:

  • Planning, environmental and social feasibility/due diligence studies
  • Advise on appropriate planning approval pathways
  • Project management of the planning approval process and associated technical studies
  • Preparing Scoping Reports and pre-lodgement briefing letters
  • Preparing SEEs and EISs
  • Preparing Response to Submissions Reports
  • Preparing Social Impact Assessments (SIAs)
  • Undertake government agency and community consultation
  • Negotiating practical and achievable conditions of consent
  • Preparing environmental management documentation
  • Acquiring Environmental Protection Licences
  • Monitoring and management of environmental compliance and reporting
  • Independent environmental audits
